Another Android smartphone that made its debut at the MWC 2012 was the Huawei Ascend
G300. If you remember sometime ago last year, we reported that Huawei categorized their new smartphone lineups by letters...Y (young), G (Gold), P (Platinum) and D (Diamond). These "letter" Ascends were to describe and represent what the smartphone does, what it's capable of and how high-end the device is.
The Huawei Ascend G300 pictured above, according by the letter, is in the "Gold" lineup, which is a one step higher than the "Y". Features of the Huawei Ascend G300 will include: a 5 MP camera, 4-inch 480×800 touchscreen, dual-microphones for better audio quality, DTS sound with connectivity options, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradeable to Android 4.0 ICS).
Price and launch date have not been mentioned for the Huawei Ascend G300, but we will keep you posted.
