does anybody know if the City Fido plan is transferrable? if so any service charge involved?

If you want to do a TOR you may do so by calling fido CS. Their number is 1-888-481-FIDO(3436). You may also dial *611 on your handset. The TOR I believe is no charge but you have to check up on that one. This will simple transfer the ownership of the plan and contract to another person.

I have done a CF transfer and it went as kdholdom described to you. The tel# of the TOR'd plan will become yours and you will be charged $20 (or $25) to change it to a new number or keep the other persons number but who would do that ? (I paid the amount to have a number change but I forget now if it was 20 or 25 dollars).

You will also be awarded the Fido dollars that may be present on the TOR'd plan so don't forget to make sure that those dollars become yours.

There are no other charges that I know of. Be sure that if the other person was NOT paying an SAF ($6.95) that you don't start paying it when the plan is transferred. It happened to me and now they debit and credit the amount on each bill with a net zero effect.

City Fido plan is not transferrable now. There is some plan looks like city fido.

Unlimited Incoming Calls + Call Back = Unlimited calls

To use CallBack service, you need to have a unlimited incoming calls plan.

1. Dial the local CallBack access number. The number always rings busy. So it is no charged.
2. CallBack will call you back right away. Answer your cell phone, since you have a unlimited incoming calls plan, it is no charged.
3. enter the destination number followed by the # key. Callback will connect you both.*support all cell phone provider.

You can always just take over the whole thing and pay the guy some money so you dont need to transfer it.
