Re: Unlocked phone, lost text messaging
if you are using it with fido, you need to get browser setttings unlocked also and configure settings again, your phone is unlocked to use only network but not the internet , you neeed to configure manually wap settings for the internet.

Re: Unlocked phone, lost text messaging
You shouldn't need to fix text messaging settings. I thought the service number was stored on the sim card and not on the phone. I may be wrong.

If your Service Center Number has been changed the correct one is "+15149931123"

Re: Unlocked phone, lost text messaging
I too just upgraded my phone from a Motorola Razor to the Samsung D900. I was able to send text messages to USA from Canada without any special international codes etc. I am unable to send messages now to USA on new phone. I too have Fido as phone provider.
Message box shows that the text message has been sent, but recipient is not recieving. Can someone tell me why this is happening and what I need to do to correct?
Thank you!
PS: The recipient uses Nextel phone service.Last edited by kdholdom; 04-06-2007 at 01:55 AM.
