Hi all, I am thinking of buying a new cell phone somewhere else (much inexpensive than Fido store), and unlock it. Is it possible for me to buy a SIM from FIDO to use with this unlocked one as prepaid service? From your experisnce, what is is pros and cons by doing so? Thanks! | ||||||

I have done it for a few phones now. It is actually a great service GSM offers. SMS and voice calls are set up automatically and it is very easy to set up MMS was WAP settings. Just go to a Fido store or kiosk and buy a Smart Card (SIM CARD). They go for around 25-30 dollars. If you need any more help don't hesitate to Private Message me.

as long as your phone is unlocked you can use it for any network you please whether it is prepaid or not
