How to avoid or block 'Unknown call' in Fido

I have Fido plan with caller ID on 'Motorola K1'. If someone 'legal' calls me I can see his phone number on the screen. Lately I started receive a lot of calls that is indicated as 'Unknown call' on my screen. Look like some one used Skype or …

Do you know how to avoid or block that calls?
I do not like to hear them
Does Fido or my 'Motorola K1' cell phone have options for that?

I seriously doubt it can be blocked, but it its possible, customer service can take care of that.

Of cause, I call to customer service today
They said that it is impossible to block a phone number that is not existing or not in a list

I hope it is not a joke.
May be I can do something on my cell phone level?

Do you only get a few unknown calls? or All of them are unknown.

If all are unknown its cause you didnt buy caller ID, therefore all incoming calls would be listed as Unknown

Yes, I am.
I get only some of calls as 'Unknown'.
I have a caller ID service.

Well, Im guessing its just a prank or something someone or a friend is playing on you.

There's a way you can block your own number while calling someone.

not really sure about your phone, but what im using is the samsung u900 soul, and if u go into the call settings, you can actually block all calls that does not show their user id.. in a way it rejects the call, and will show up on your screen as a missed call instead of ringing none stop
