Fido, LG TE365 (Neon), and 850mhz band

I recently purchased an LG TE365. It looks fancy, but it lags and you can't use MP3's as ringtones. You need DRM music to set as ringtones. I don't wanna deal with that, so I plan to flash my LG's firmware with the KS360 firmware. The KS360 is the European version of the TE365 Neon. The only thing I will lose (correct me if I am wrong on this), is the use of my 850 mhz band. I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, so I don't really think the loss will affect me too too much? Can anyone confirm that the loss of the 850 mhz and the constant reliance on the 1900 mhz band will not affect me that much?
And where exactly do I download the KS360 firmware, and how exactly do I flash it?
I already spent $30 on the KE500 cable...

I have a little bit of information for you that my help. Now as far as flashing you're phone with custom firmware just remember that it technical makes it a non-fido phone. So just be cautious of any pay-per-use charges as your phone my loose settings. Another thing to remember is that flashing will void both you're 15 DAY Warranty and 16-365 DAY Warranty supplied by the manufacturers.

Now with that out of the way because you are going to use custom firmware I cannot guarantee what network frequency the phone will want to use, but North America (Canada) operates on 1900 Mhz or in Mix Mode which will accept both 1900/850 MHz. As long as your phone can accept the 1900MHz frequency you will be OK.
