Does anyone know,
or suggest somewhere to verify
si Verizon has discontinued their tower sharing contract
with US Cellular or other providers in our area (Lake County, CA)?
I've posted elsewhere here about our change in service quality
and this suggestion by a Verizon Tech would offer a plausible
explanation. Though, not surprisingly, the Tech could not/would not
veriify this for our area.
Thanks

Re: Verizon Change in Tower Sharing ???
Those are usually long term leases and doubtful that
a change in coverage would caused by this. That and the
very high cost of re-engineering, provisioning backhaul, etc
make this very unlikely.

Your point is well taken.
Though Verizon moved into the area only three years ago and might not
they have anticipated the anlalog drop
and construction of digital cells in their lease negotiation?
Didn't someone mention/explain how the new cells were lower power and
lower to the ground.
This would seem verfied by Verizons claim to having towers in the two
small towns near me that boarder the lake.
and really not visible.
The visible tower are on a mountain ridge.
I don't know. It's little more than idle speculation I guess
and time to upgrade my phone software or get a newer phone.
thanks for the response.
