    Hi, all....

Just took advantage of Tracfone's free phone w/40-minute card, and gave
one to both my Niece and Nephew for their Birthdays.

Just sent their Dad the e-mail about Refer-a-Friend, and am waiting for
    my free minutes....

.....and I thought 'Hey, let's make this gift last a little longer.'
Can I just forward the e-mail I get back to their Dad, so they get 200
minutes each? I've still got over 1300 minutes on mine, and I'm only
using about 3-400 per year! (This is my only phone, too! Sad, huh?)
    B-)

    Thanks, all!

The referrals are not transferable, unless you plan to deactivate a phone
that has several unused referral PINs. Then you can transfer the PINs to
another TracFone, but you have to call Customer Service.

Customer Service will not transfer a referral 100 free minute PIN from an
activated TracFone to another activated TracFone.

Refer-A-Friend system works using 2 different ESNs. Once TracFone knows the
two ESNs, then they process the referral and send out two 100 free minute
PINs to each TracFone user. Using the email addresses of the original
    referral respectively.

You can refer yourself if you have one activated TracFone and then activate
a 2nd, but you have to use two separate email addresses when you do, and
fake name on with one when you sign-up.

    Hope this helps!
