Sending Messages

Sending a Group Text (SMS) Message:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Messages"
  2. Tap the "New Message" icon located at the top left corner of the screen
  3. Type in the recipient's number or contact name in the "To" field. Repeat this step for each additional number or contact that you wish to add
  4. Enter the message in the appropriate field
  5. Tap "Send" when ready

Sending a New Picture or a Video in a Multimedia Message(MMS):

  1. From the home screen, tap "Messages"
  2. Tap the "New Message" icon located at the top left corner of the screen
  3. Enter the recipient's number or contact name in the "To" field
  4. Tap the "Camera" icon
  5. Press "Take Photo" or "Video"
  6. Capture the photo or video, and then tap "Use Photo" (or video)
  7. Tap "Send"

Sending an Existing Picture or Video in a Message:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Messages"
  2. Tap the "New Message" icon
  3. Type in the recipient's number or contact name in the "To" field
  4. Tap the "Camera" icon
  5. Tap "Choose Existing"
  6. Select the photo or video and tap "Choose"
  7. Tap "Send" when ready

Managing Messages

Saving a Picture Received in a Multimedia Message:

  1. Access the "Messages" app
  2. Go to the desired message, and tap on the picture that you wish to save
  3. Tap the icon shaped like an arrow pointing up. It's located at the bottom-left corner of the screen
  4. Tap "Save Image"

Deleting Text or Multimedia Messages:

  1. Tap "Messages" while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Edit"
  3. Press the red "-" button associated with the thread containing the messages that you wish to delete
  4. Tap "Delete" and confirm by tapping "Done"
