Renting movies on iPad & data use

If i rent a movie on itunes from my iPad can i watch it in the car even though there isn't wifi?

I don't have data plan. So i don't have internet unless i'm at my house because i use the wifi at my house. So can i still watch it in the car if i rent it at my house and then take the ipad in the car with me?

You shouldn't need to use data at all when renting movies from itunes. After you rent the movie, plug in the ipad and sync the movie to it. Since it's on the ipad and not streaming you can take it with it without using data.
