I was with optus for 5 years, on prepaid. I've just recently changed to Vodaphone as economically for me it works out cheaper for more talk time. I've found that even though an optus tower is near my house, I had better reception with Vodaphone.
I've also tried Revolution, which is a small tear away from Vodaphone which is 9cents for 30 secs, which wasnt too bad either.
But all up I think vodaphone is the best.
My mother has telstra and the service seems to be crap.

I've been with three since they first started so I have an awesome plan that isn't available anymore...
Before that I was with optus pre paid...
Telstra does seem to be very expensive...
Vodaphone does seem to have the best talk caps at the moment....

If vodafone provides more free services it would be heaps good. Currently I'm with Optus and have Yes time and Yes Weekend which is great.

Re: Aussie Providers, which one do you think is the best?
I used to be with Optus and the Yes time was really cool - is the network better now? I used to have to call a couple of times before I could get through - the lines were always congested....
Yay another aussie - welcome to the forums

I love vodafone. I think they provides the best value for their customers.
Even from last two years, they increased their rates, they still have compatible rates compares to others.

Optus.
I love their 'Always Win' Pre-Paid promotion! I think they have the most cost-effective pricing plans (when compared to Telstra) and I like their advertising and marketing strategies.Last edited by MobileActive; 10-27-2008 at 10:10 PM.
