If I were to buy an HTC Touch Diamond from Bell, and unlock it. Would Solo Mobile Activate it, and would I be able to use the Internet?
    Thanks!

Re: Bell and Solo Mobile Question

    I have the same question.
I got an answer and i was looking for some clarification.
What someone told me is if you want any phone to work on solo mobile it has to be CDMA and that means that it has no SIM card. so you cannot use a Rodgers or Fido phone with solo mobile.
But you can use Bell or Telus etc thoes phones do not have SIM cards.
AND the phone had to be unlocked and then you will be able to use it with solomobile!

    I hope this helped!

Re: Bell and Solo Mobile Question

I work for Bell Canada. First, your phone can be from any carrier, as long as it is unlocked you are good to go with Solo. We offer great plans for Solo, however we do not carry Data packages like Bell does. We do offer mobile browser, but for example, if you have an iPhone, your App store wont work because that relies only on data. So at the end of the day, you have to determine what your needs are. If you are looking at going with Voice and Data, sign up with Bell, since you have your own phone, its no contract, or if your looking for a great voice plan then go with Solo. If you have any questions, feel free to inbox me and I can gladly help you any questions you have in regards to Bell and Solo. Also, on a side note, the SIM card with Solo or Bell are only $5. Activation fees are waived with Solo.

    Hope this helped.

Re: Bell and Solo Mobile Question

This text was not translated, because it is originally in French Thank you for your reply. In terms of data I have a add-on to my calling plan of an unlimited data package with Solo for an extra 10 $ a month. In what does this differ with Bell ? Isn't the data plan the same ? Thanks
