The Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom has been out and about for several months already, but the gadget in question hasn't really been picked up by all the carriers. Fortunately, for those of you who happen to be AT&T customers and are also interested in this particular device, the carrier in question has made an announcement earlier today, claiming that the S4 Zoom will soon hit the shelves.

According to the mobile operator's press release, the Galaxy S4 Zoom will be offered in stores starting with November 8. The device will set you back $199 alongside a two-year contract, but you can also get it for $25 a month, assuming that you're willing to go with the AT&T Next payment option.

As to what you'll get for that sum of money, well, the Galaxy S4 Zoom is simply a Mix between the Samsung Galaxy Camera point-and-shoot, and the Galaxy S4 mini. Spec-wise, the handset features a Super AMOLED 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 and a pixel density of 256 ppi, a dual-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, a Mali-400 graphics chip and 1.5 GB of RAM. There are 8 GB of internal storage on-board (out of which only 5 GB are available to the user), but fortunately, the handset features a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the storage by up to an additional 64 GB.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom arrives with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and boasts the TouchWiz UI on top. It's being powered by a 2,330 mAh battery that promises up to 570 hours of stand-by, up to 13 hours of talk time or up to 46 hours of music playback.

The biggest highlight of the Galaxy S4 Zoom (both literally and figuratively) is the main camera. The unit is a 16 MP camera with 10x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, a 1/2.33 sensor size, HDR capabilities and a Xenon flash. While impressive, this huge camera takes its toll on the design of the handset, making it bulkier than most smartphones out there.

That's pretty much it, so feel free to leave a comment below and let the community know whether or not you're interested in buying the SGS4 Zoom once it hits AT&T's shelves.
