Wondering what file formats are supported by the firmware in a phone.
I just tried opening a .txt file with my CU500 after transferring it to my microSD. Wasn't able to open it.
So I was wondering what files would open aside from music and image format files.
Since I can't seem to get the stupid sync software to work I'd still like to load some text files for reference and stuff. Back in the day when I used a Palm m500 I used to load that sucker up with text stuff in the memos... work specific references that were nice to have handy. So I'd like to do the same with my phone if it's at all possible.

Re: Supported File Formats?
You need any cell phone which runs Symbain. If you have Symbain you can install a QuickOffice application and open txt, doc, pdf and other office file extension file formats

Re: Supported File Formats?
Symbain is an Operating system, like Windows mobile. I don't think that your cell has it. You need to buy a nokia smartphone. You just need to go to any internet store and look for smartphones
