    My husband's line is through Page Plus. He has a Verizon Samsung Omnia 2, which the phone is not the issue, since I used that phone on verizon and it worked just fine. Been happening the last two weeks. My husband will get texts from random people, all different time, including in the middle of the night, with texts that are clearly not meant for him, one night there was a male and a female sexting and he was getting both sides of the conversation, not all the texts, but some. Then the guy calls thinking he is calling the girl and he is calling my husband! We have tried to tell these other people that they have the wrong number, but they keep trying to reach whomever, so I assume they are able to reach that person some times.

    Now tonight we called into support twice, were on hold anywhere from 45-60 minutes each call then the technician is supposedly checking on whatever and BOTH times, both technicians had tried different things, we were hung up on. Tried live chat, first guy wanted to disconnect bc we finally got a person on the phone. Second one said to put in a support ticket and the person who replied to the ticked said "sorry, we are unable to block certain numbers". I sent him a message back practically as tactfully as I could, told him to have a supervisor call me in the am.

    I am just hoping someone has an idea that I can throw out there to live chat or a person over the phone. If someone can help me figure out what is wrong, I am hoping they can actually fix it. If not, we are gone. This middle of the night text and call business is getting old real fast

    This sounds like it's an issue with Verizon Wireless more than Page Plus, but Page Plus is who provides the support. So, you're going to need to keep trying to speak with a manager or supervisor and explain the situation to them. It sounds like the numbers are getting mixed up somehow. It doesn't seem like they're actually dialing you're number. They're dialing the correct number, but somehow the system got it mixed up and it is coming to you also. I'm sure people have called into Page Plus before with a similar issue so you just need to find the right person that is able to fix it, or forward it to someone at Verizon Wireless that can fix the technical issue.

    Please keep us updated and let us know what you find out.

    I talked to someone from Tier 1 support. He said that 2 of the 5 numbers he can tell are intentionally calling him. He thinks its some sort of prank through some sort of app, but hubby thinks that is a bit far fetched, bc when the people call him, they act like he called them first. I do not know what to think. Page Plus told us to take it to law enforcement or change the number. So hubby has started getting really rude and mean with the kids, hoping it will make them stop. I think we will be switching him back to Straight Talk. At least we did not get hung up on and have issues like this.

    Although my son has gotten a couple random calls on his Tracphone, one last night, one a couple weeks ago the man thinking my son was his son (which long story short freaked him out bc it could have been his bio dad). I am starting to wonder if it is a prepaid phone issue, granted I do not have issues on my Verizon phone number I ported over to Straight Talk in Feb.

    I've heard about issues similar to yours before, and I do think it's a technical issue. If you can get support to escalate it to another department that might help.

    Brief update. Got a call back on the support ticket I put in. The man said that the numbers are calling my husband intentionally, which makes him think its an app thing. But these people calling/texting my husband are saying my husband is calling them first. The majority of the numbers are from Michigan. It has continued to happen. Page Plus insists that there is nothing wrong that they can see, etc, and to tell these people he will get law enforcement involved. A woman text him a reply to that last night and said, but you just called me four times.

    Now today, I text my husband, no response. Then I get a text message from him about 10 minutes later, but it is not from him. It says it is from his number, but the person is saying remind me to get more internet for my phone, plzzzzz and thank you, which my husband could never use all his internet so he would never ask for more, and he would never spell please like that, plus he was home, sleeping on the couch bc he is sick! So I text him back and say seriously? No response. Get home, hubby got neither of the messages.

    So I have a support ticket in again. Last one we were threatening to leave. WE are set on leaving now, especially since they don't believe it is their fault and are not fixing it, but we have a couple more weeks paid, so we want to use it.

    I'm not sure what is going on. It sounds like an issue Verizon Wireless would need to fix. I'm thinking Page Plus Cellular just doesn't know what is wrong or how to fix it. Verizon probably has better support and would probably be able to fix it. You can keep trying to see if they'll escalate the ticket to a higher department.

    I'm sorry I'm not of much assistance.

    Well we talked to someone again, only it took putting in 3 support tickets to get someone to actually call us so they could actually understand. WE called twice before only to wait on hold forever and my husband was hung up on both times when they put him on hold, so I refuse to waste anymore of my minutes. Anyway, basically the guy ran through a bunch of things then came up with the change your number. At that point my husband just hung up and decided that he is going back to straight talk. Changing his number, when he had already decided that he was not going to stay with them anymore just does not make sense. So we are just using up our time and switching. Hubby is still not receiving most of my texts and is getting texts all the time meant for other people, still has no data (which does not make any sense bc he only went on briefly once or twice). Just a few more days and we are gone. We transferred his number over first to test out how they were before we tried my number, and I am so glad we did one at a time, bc I will just stay with straight talk.

    The only other idea I have would be to port out and then back to Page Plus again. For some reason when you ported to Page Plus the first time it got messed up, and nobody knew how to fix it. It looks like you've already decided to go back to Straight Talk though. Hopefully the issue won't happen with them also.

    Let me know how the service is working with Straight Talk.
