Are there any other Direct Connect services besides Nextel/Sprint? Ever since Sprint bought Nextel our radio service has been 80% non functional. With Nextel, we never had a problem reaching our drivers on their radios/cell. I am running 5 drivers, all of which are reached by radio. Any help for a better service would be greatly appreciated!

iDEN and direct connect is an archaic technology at this point, I'm sorry to say. Sprint has been slowly shutting down their iDEN network for the past couple years. They trying to replace it with apps, like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...comm.qchat.dlc but the reviews are less than stellar.

AT&T does have something similar: Push-to-Talk, Push to Talk Phones but you'd be looking at purchasing new phones
