Adjusting the Screen Brightness Manually

1. Open the Notifications panel and tap Settings.
2. Tap Display, gestures & buttons -> select Brightness.
3. Then clear the Automatic brightness option.
4. To increase the brightness level, drag the slider to the right.
5. To decrease the brightness level, drag the slider to the left.

Adjusting the Time Before the Screen Turns Off

In order to conserve the battery power, the screen will turn off after a certain period of activity. You can set exactly how much time the screen should be inactive before it turns off.

1. Open the Notifications panel and tap Settings.
2. Then tap Display, gestures & buttons -> select Sleep.
3. Tap the most comfortable time before screen turns off.

1. Open the Notifications panel and tap Settings.
2. Then tap Display, gestures & buttons and disable the Auto-rotate screen option.

Recalibrating the G-Sensor

In case you think that the screen orientation is not working properly, you can recalibrate the screen of your HTC One VX.

1. Open the Notifications panel and tap Settings.
2. Then tap Display, gestures & buttons
3. Tap G-Sensor calibration and place your smartphone on a flat and level surface (it’s very important that the surface is perfectly flat and leveled). Then tap Calibrate.
4. After the smartphone is completely recalibrated, tap OK.

Keep the Screen on while Charging

1. Open the Notifications panel and tap Settings.
2. Then tap Display, gestures & buttons and select Stay awake.

1. Open the Notifications panel and tap Settings.
