News: Vodafone UK will have the HTC Desire S available on April 8

The HTC Desire S is now available on pre-order through Vodafone UK. HTC Desire S runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be available on a 2 year contract with Vodafone, free, on plans that will start at £30 per month.

Features of the HTC Desire S will include: Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.7 inch S-LCD WVGA display, Sense UI, HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, 720p video recording, VGA front-facing camera, 768MB of RAM, and a 1GHz Scorpion processor.

Customers who pre-order their HTC Desire S with Vodafone will have their devices shipped on April 8.
