WARNING! Master resetting your smartphone will result in the deletion of all personal data stored on your device's internal storage, and it will return all of the settings back to factory values. Master resetting can help if your smartphone is crashing, freezing or doesn't work as intended and all other fixes have failed.

NOTE: Before proceeding, you may want to back up your personal data stored on your phone's internal memory.

  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"

  5. If your smartphone is protected by a lock screen, enter the PIN, password or pattern
  6. Optionally, mark the "Erase SD card" check box (NOTE: checking this option will format the SD card and will delete all data stored on it. Create backups if necessary)
  7. Tap "Reset phone"
  8. Confirm by tapping "Erase everything"

Master Resetting via Hardware Keys:

  3. Once the phone vibrates, release the "Power" key
