Nexus 5 won't sync with Exchange (email/contacts, etc)

No matter what I do I can't get Exchange to sync on my Nexus 5. I get an error "Couldn't finish: Can't connect to server". It seems to sign in without a problem. Anyone know what's going on?

What version of Exchange are you using? (you may have to ask an admin at your work place)

I'm using 2010.

There is an open issue with google regarding this. Hopefully it will be fixed shortly.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd share my findings. We had two Nexus 5s that suddenly stopped syncing to our Exchange 2007 server, both running Android 5.0.1. No other phones were affected. The problem was not account related as I couldn't add any active accounts to theses phones, but could add the Nexus 5 users accounts to other Android phones. Turns out, the cause was because of security changes I imposed on the owa site. SSL 2 and 3 were disabled as well as some depreciated cyphers on the same day the syncing stopped. Long story short, syncing would not work until I re-enabled an RC4 protocol. I used RC4 128/128. Wondering if this is an issue with Android 5.0.1 or the phones? No issues with any other Android phones in the company, all running Android 4+.
