Managing Contacts

Adding a New Contact:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap "New"
  3. Select the account on which you wish to save the contact. NOTE: you can tap "Add new account" and follow the on-screen prompts if the desired account is not listed
  4. Type the contact's name and tap "Next"
  5. Enter the contact's phone number. Tap the "MOBILE" drop-down list if necessary, and choose the desired type of phone number
  6. Tap "Next" and add any additional details for the contact
  7. When ready, tap "Save"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  2. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Speed dial"
  3. Choose the dial pad number that you wish to assign
  4. Select the desired contact to assign it to the dial pad number
  5. Information on the contact will appear next to the assigned number

Importing Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Contacts"
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Select "Import from SD card"
  4. Choose the contacts that you wish to import
  5. Tap "Import" > "Yes"

Exporting Contacts to the SD Card:

  1. Open the "Contacts" app
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Tap "Export to SD card" and select the desired contacts
  4. Tap "Export" > "Yes"
  5. Type in a name for the file, and press "OK"

Importing Contacts from the SIM Card:

  1. From the "Contacts" application, press the "Menu" key
  2. Tap "Import / Export" and select "Import from SIM card"
  3. Choose the contacts that you wish to import
  4. Tap "Import" and confirm by pressing "Yes"

Exporting Contacts to the SIM Card:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app
  2. Press "Menu" > "Import / Export" > "Export to SIM card"
  3. Select the desired contacts
  4. Tap "Export" > "Yes"

Deleting a Contact:

  1. From the home screen, tap the "Contacts" shortcut
  2. Press and hold the contact that you wish to remove
  3. Tap "Delete contact"
  4. Confirm by tapping "Yes"

Managing Groups

Creating a New Caller Group:

  1. Tap "Contacts" while on a home screen
  2. Access the "Groups" tab
  3. Press the "Menu" key and tap "New group"
  4. Type in the group's name
  5. If desired, select a ringtone for the group
  6. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Go to the "Groups" tab
  3. Select the desired group
  4. Press "Menu" and tap "Add members"
  5. Select the members that you want to add
  6. Tap "Add"
