Contact Management
Adding a Contact:
- While viewing the home screen, tap "Contacts"
- Tap the "+" button and select to save the contact on the "SIM", "Google" account or as a "Phone contact"
- Enter the contact's name in the appropriate field
- Type in the contact's number in the right field
- Enter any additional details for the contact as you see fit
- Tap "Save" when ready
Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap "Phone" while on the home screen
- Press "Menu" and tap "Speed dial"
- Tap the dial pad number you wish to use for speed dialing
- Select the contact you wish to assign to the dial pad number
Deleting a Contact:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Locate the desired contact, then tap and hold it
- Tap "Delete contact" and confirm by tapping "Yes"
Importing / Exporting Contacts
Importing Contacts:
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- Press "Menu" and then tap "Import / Export"
- Select to "Import from SIM", "Import from SD card" or "Import from internal storage"
- If necessary, select the location where the contacts should be imported
- Follow any self-explanatory steps to complete the operation
Exporting Contacts:
- From the "Contacts" app, tap "Menu"
- Select "Import / Export"
- Tap "Export to SIM card", "Export to SD card" or "Export to internal storage"
- Select the contacts you wish to export
- Follow any self-explanatory steps to complete the process
Caller Group Management
Create a New Caller Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" app and access the "Groups" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "New group"
- Enter the group's name
- Optionally, select a custom ringtone for the group
- Add the desired members to the group and tap "Save"
- A "Group saved" message should appear
Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Go to the "Groups" tab
- Choose the group you wish to edit and press "Menu"
- Tap "Edit group" > "Add members"
- Mark the contacts you wish to add, and tap "Add" > "Save"
- A "Group saved" message will pop-up
Removing Contacts from a Caller Group:
- From the "Contacts" app, access the "Groups" tab
- Select the desired group
- Tap "Menu" > "Edit group"
- Tap the "X" button associated with the contact(s) you wish to remove
- Tap "Save" and a confirmation message will pop-up on the screen
