The speakers on my Nexus 5 gave out recently and I was wondering what the best way would be to go about getting it fixed. I'm pretty sure that the connection inside the phone is just loose since when it first started doing this it was just a little and if I smacked it then it would work for a while. Now it isn't working hardly at all and when I smack it I get maybe a few seconds of sound before it gives out again. I've heard people say to order the parts and do it myself and while I do know how to solder I'm not the greatest and am not sure if I trust myself to handle something that probably has really small parts and connection points. (haven't opened it up yet so not sure what it looks like really) I got it as a birthday present from my brother the other year and he got it somewhere on the internet so I do not believe there is any kind of warranty on it. There is a cell phone repair kiosk at our local mall and thought about taking it there, is that worth a shot or should I contact Google/LG (not sure which one would be right to call) and see if they can repair it?
