First of this phone LG 500GB is locked to a network, so I am thinking can a generic software/firmware be installed on this phone. Looking through the list of LG phones I see a phone LG C100 that looks identical to this phone. Is it the same hardware platform as the specs look the same. Does anyone know if a software from another model can be flashed to this phone so as it will use a SIM from any network provider.

Second what platform is this phone built on and therefore what flash tool to use.
