LG L34C: Need info on memory

Have phone on order. Since phone has never been turned on, never had battery installed, can I just swap memory cards cards when I get it? Do I have to format it manually or will the phone do it automatically?

Phone will do that automatically. If you ill have to or need to format that you will be able to use another devices to do that.
