Enable Battery Saving Mode:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings” and access the “General” tab
  3. Under “Phone Management”, tap “Battery & power saving”
  4. Tap the switch to enable “Battery saver”
  5. Select a battery percentage for the saving mode to enable automatically

Disable Smart Settings:

  1. Open the Apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Access the “General” tab
  4. Scroll to “Smart Functions”
  5. Tap “Smart settings” and tap the sliders to “OFF”

Disable Game Optimizer:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. From the “General” tab, scroll to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Battery & power saving”
  4. Tap the “Game optimizer” slider to “OFF”

Disable Wi-Fi, Hotspot, GPS, and Bluetooth When Unused:

NOTE: By disabling the phone’s connectivity features when not in use (and enabling them only when needed), you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Access the “Networks” tab
  4. Scroll to “Connectivity” and tap “Tethering”
  5. Tap “Mobile Hotspot”
  6. Turn the “Mobile Hotspot” switch “OFF”
  7. Go back to “Settings” and tap the “Wi-Fi” and “Bluetooth” switches to “OFF”
  8. From the “General” tab in “Settings”, scroll to “Personal” and tap “Location”
  9. Tap “Mode” and select “Battery saving (Networks only)”

Limit Connectivity to 2G:

NOTE: If you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or a power bank and you wish to conserve battery life until the next recharge, you can temporarily switch to 2G. To do this:

  1. Open the “Settings” menu
  2. Go to the “Networks” tab
  3. Tap “More” under “Connectivity”
  4. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Network mode”
  5. Select “Use only 2G networks”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

  1. From the “Settings” menu, access the “Display” tab
  2. Under “Basic Settings”, tap “Brightness”
  3. Drag the brightness slider towards the left to decrease screen luminosity
  4. Tap “Screen timeout” and choose a lower timeout setting, such as “15 seconds” or “30 seconds”

Minimize Third Party App Usage:

NOTE: Some third party apps can affect battery life even when unused, as they perform regular background processes. By disabling or removing unused third party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. From the “General” tab, scroll to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Apps” and access “Downloaded”
  4. Tap and hold the desired application
  5. Tap “Force stop” to disable the app, or:
  6. Tap “Uninstall” to remove the app from the phone

Disable Background Data:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “Networks” tab
  3. Tap “Mobile data”
  4. Tap “Menu”
  5. Check the “Restrict background data” option
  6. Tap “OK”

Change Sync Settings:

  1. Go to “Settings” > “General”
  2. Tap “Accounts & sync” under “Personal”
  3. Clear the “Auto-sync data” option
  4. Under “Accounts”, you can select an app to change its sync settings and further reduce sync
