Restore App Data:

  1. From the home screen, swipe the “Notification” bar down
  2. Tap “Settings” in the upper-right corner
  3. Access “General”
  4. Tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
  6. Select the backup file you want to restore
  7. Tap “Start” and wait for the “Restored” pop-up
  8. Tap “Done” and, if necessary, wait for our phone to reboot and complete the restore

Restore Contacts From an SD Card:

  1. Slide the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
  2. Access “Settings” and go to “General”
  3. Tap “backup & reset”
  4. Under “LG Backup service”, tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the SD card backup file you want to restore
  6. Tap “Start”
  7. When prompted with “Restored”, tap “Done”
  8. If necessary, wait for your device to reboot

Restore Media Files Using Your Phone:

  1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
  3. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the desired media file backup
  5. Tap “Start”
  6. When prompted with “Restored completed”, tap “Restart” and wait for your phone to reboot

Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the LG X Cam to your computer via USB
  2. When prompted, enable “File transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the phone’s “Notification” area
  3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
  4. Locate the media files or the desired “.sbf” file backed up on your computer
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them on the phone storage
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the handset from the USB cord
