First of all ,I apologize if this a very worn out question for everyone. Id appreciate any help. Maybe point me to a thread that has already addressed this. My sister has the last remaining pics of our father on her Razr just prior to his death in 2008. She no longer has phone service to this phone nor does it have a memory card. I went to RadioShack and was told that using this

I wouldn't need to install a driver or program to download the photos. My PC recognized the Motorola but that's all it does. I have tried searching online for a program/driver to use but am hitting dead ends. Its all so ambiguous to me. Can anyone here explain what i NEED to do in simple terms (as if i was 10 years old-lol) Thanks all.!!
I tried using Motorola's Media Link for Windows--a dead end.
i have tried BitPim as well -another dead end.
One more thing, I too have an old Razr through VERIZON (no longer in service) which is the one i have been using as a guinea pig. My sister had used AT&T on her Razr. Does that matter much in re to downloading? Is Verizon's phones more protected than others?
