Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with a Google account. Then you can share the account data with the Moto X Pure Edition.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes to view the summary page
  4. Access the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With”

  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. On the Moto X Pure Edition, register the same account and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before, your iPhone contacts should be synced with your iCloud account. You can access your iCloud account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts” and choose the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the file is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts”
  7. Alternatively, skip the step above and instead, connect the Moto X to your computer via USB and transfer the vCard file to the phone storage. Then use the “Contacts” app and “Import” function to add the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the Moto X Pure Edition, open the email and download the file
  7. Import the file’s contents via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other file types without needing a computer.

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the Moto X
  2. Install the same app on the iPhone via the App Store
  3. Open the application on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone
  5. Tap “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  6. Tap “Send”
