WARNING! By master resetting your phone you will delete all personal data stored on the internal memory, including downloaded content, media files, contacts, apps etc. The phones settings will also be restored to factory values and your accounts will be removed. However data stored on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected
NOTE: Before a master reset you should consider backing up your data. Visit this thread to learn how you can back up and restore data on the Lumia 532.

- Swipe the Start screen left
- Go to Settings and tap about
- Tap reset your phone
- Confirm with yes at the warning message
- Tap yes again and your phone should now reset to factory values

- Press and hold Power to turn the phone back on
- After the phone vibrates once, release Power but continue holding Volume Down
- When you see an exclamation mark on the screen, release all buttons

- Your device should now display a couple of rotating gears while it resets
Check for Software Updates:
NOTE: Its recommended to search for new software updates immediately after you factory reset your phone. To see if a newer OS version is available:
- Swipe the Start screen to the left
- From the Applications screen, tap Settings
- Tap About > More info
- Check the Firmware version number and verify if newer updates are available. If yes, follow the on-screen instructions to apply them on your device
