USB cable connectivity problem with nokia 6350

Hi

I recently got a nokia 6350 phone. I also bought a USB data cable off the net to use to sync the contact/calendar info on the phone with my pc, but I am having problems getting the pc to recognise the phone.

Here are things that I've tried:

- Installing the latest version of Nokia PC Suite;

- Installing just the cable connectivity drivers after uninstalling everything else;

- Rebooting pc and switching off/on phone;

- Plugging phone into another USB port;

- Removing/putting phone battery back;

But none of these work.

Any one have any ideas what else to try?

Try the same, but on another computer!

change another PC, good idea

The problem is in the windows that you are using in your PC. Change the operating system.

As Jacob stated, its a problem with your PC.

Go to a internet cafe or a phone shop and check it out there.
