Unlock: (Easy Method) How to Unlock 9900/9930, 9360/9370, 9850/9860

Hello phone fanatics,

This discussion is for anyone who owns a BlackBerry 9900/9930, 9360/9370, 9850/9860!

I'm sure everyone can agree with me in saying it frustrating that service providers lock the phone to their network when you purchase it restricting you from switching it to any other carrier.

I wanted to show just how easy it is to unlock these blackberries, luckily they're among the easiest of the Blackberries to unlock.

So how do you unlock the BlackBerry 9900/9930, 9360/9370, 9850/9860?

1. Insert a non accepted Sim card (Ie. One that didn't come with the phone when you purchased it)
2. Power on handset, the device will display "Phone Restricted"
3. Enter your 8 or 16 digit Unlock Code.
4. Select "Okay". Your phone is now unlocked!
