The Samsung Galaxy S II has become yet another great success with over 5 million units sold worldwide. Just a month ago, the handset reached the 3 million mark which took the Samsung Galaxy 85 days last year just to reach this 3 million milestone.

We can probably expect the Samsung Galaxy S II to reach the 10 million mark within the next several months and the handset hasn't even reached the US yet. With sales so high, the company plans on launching a white version of the Galaxy S II in the UK in which Clove, a UK retailer, has the device listed launching around August 15th.

The price of the white Samsung Galaxy S II will be priced a little higher than the black version; £492, VAT included. The black is priced at £478.80.
