My friend is getting a new cell phone to replace her HTC Inspire. I have convinced her to get a Galaxy Nexus from Simple Mobile. She will not have a contract.
The new phone arrives in a few days and I have also convinced her to let me transfer the data on her SIM card and the memory chip to my computer. I will then go from my computer to the Galaxy Nexus. I have read both manuals and figure I can do this. However, if there is anything I should watch out for please let me know. They are both Android and can use the Google Account if needed.
Your ideas, please?
Bill

Re: Xfer Data from HTC Inspire to Galaxy Nexus
You may not need to use your PC to transfer data...
Sync old phone with Google; Then sync new phone with Google
Setttings -> Account & Syn:
Can sync all Google data.
This includes calendar, contacts, gmail, tasks, and moreLast edited by camstuf; 11-09-2012 at 06:02 PM.
