Do you want to import or export your contacts? That’s very easy! You can send your contacts’ information as namecards via Bluetooth to other Bluetooth compatible devices or just attach the contacts to an Email or Gmail message.

Note: Not all Bluetooth handsets accept a contact transfer and some of them will not accept a transfer of multiple contacts. So check the Bluetooth device’s documentation before your proceed with this tutorial.

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Then press the Menu key and select Import/Export -> choose Send via namecard.
3. Tap the contacts that you’d like to send or just tap Select all if you want to send all of your contacts.
4. Then tap Send.
5. And that’s it!

Adding a New Contact

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Then tap Contacts again -> tap the plus sign.
3. Select where you’d like to store your contact: Phone, Google (or a different account).
4. Then tap Select Photo to choose a picture for your contact.
5. In the First name and Last name fields, enter the names of the contacts.
6. In the Phone number field, enter the contact’s phone number and choose a label for it, such as Mobile, Home, Work, etc.
7. In the Email field, enter the contact’s email address and select the desired label for it.
8. To enter an instant message address, tap IM.
9. To assign the contact to a group, tap Groups and select the desired one.
10. Tap Ringtone to select a specific ringtone for your contact.
11. To enter a postal address, tap Postal address.
12. If you’d like to also enter a Job Title or Company name, tap Organization.
13. And if you’d still like to add more fields, tap More.
14. When you’re done editing the contact, tap Save.

Updating Your Contacts

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Tap the desired contact to view its information. Then press the Menu icon and select Edit or you just tap and hold a contact until a pop-up menu appears and then select Edit.
3. Now edit this contact as desired.

Sync Your Contacts

You can use the Get Friends feature if you’d like to sync the contacts of your accounts.

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Press the Menu key and select Get friends.
3. Tap Add account -> and select the account that you’d like to add to this feature.
4. Press the Menu key and then select Sync now.

Displaying Your Contacts

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Press the Menu icon and select More -> Display options and make one of the following settings:
• Only contacts with phones -> by enabling this option only the contacts that have phone numbers will be displayed.
• Sort by – your contacts will be displayed in an alphanumerical order by either First or Last name, as you desire.
• Display contacts by – your contacts will be displayed with their first or last name.
3. To save the changes made, tap Done.
