Call Blocking

Block Calls from an Existing Contact:

  1. Access the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Under "My device", tap "Call" > "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
  3. Tap "Create" and tap the "Contacts" icon
  4. Tap "Contacts" again and choose to use the app "Always" or "Just once"
  5. Select the contact you want to block calls from and tap "Save"

Block Numbers from the Call Log:

  1. Tap "Apps" > "Settings"
  2. Under "My Device", tap "Call" > "Call rejection"
  3. Tap "Auto reject list" > "Create"
  4. Tap "Contacts" and access the "Logs" screen
  5. Select the entry you wish to block and tap "Save"

Block a New Phone Number:

  1. Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Tap "My Device" > "Call"
  3. Tap "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
  4. Tap "Create" and enter the phone number you want to block
  5. Optionally you can tap "Match criteria" and options such as "Starts with" to block calls from an entire area code and so on. To block the specified phone number only, tap "Exactly the same as"
  6. Tap "Save"

Unblock a Number:

  1. Press "Menu" on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "My device" > "Call"
  4. Tap "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
  5. To allow calls but leave the phone number in the reject list, mark the check boxes next to the desired phone number
  6. To allow calls and remove the contact from the list, tap the "Trash can" icon, select the desired entry and tap "Delete" twice

Call Forwarding

Forward All Calls (Unconditional):

  1. Press "Menu" on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "Call" under "My device"
  4. Tap "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
  5. Tap "Always forward"
  6. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to and tap "Enable"

Forward Certain Calls Only (Conditional):

  1. Press "Menu" on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings" > "Call" > "Additional settings"
  3. Tap "Call forwarding"
  4. Select to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
  5. Enter the number you wish to forward the calls to and tap "Update"

Cancel Call Forwarding:

  1. Access the "Settings" menu
  2. Under "My Device" tap "Call"
  3. Tap "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
  4. Tap "Always forward" > "Disable"

Block / Unblock Messages

Block Messages:

  1. Launch "Messaging"
  2. Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the number you want to block
  3. Tap "Add to spam numbers" > "OK"

Block Numbers / Messages via Settings:

  1. Launch "Messaging"
  2. Press "Menu" > "Settings"
  3. Mark the check box next to "Spam settings"
  4. Tap "Add to spam numbers"
  5. Tap the "+" button and enter the phone number you want to block messages from
  6. Tap "Save"

Unblock Messages:

  1. Open the "Messaging" app
  2. Tap and hold the desired conversation thread
  3. Tap "Remove from spam numbers"

Unblock Messages via Settings:

  1. Tap "Menu" in "Messaging"
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Enable "Spam settings" and tap "Add to spam numbers"
  4. Tap and hold the phone number you want to unblock
  5. Tap "Delete" > "OK"
