I'm having problems with my phone connecting to my wireless printer and making the Internet unavailable. My router connection shows
"Saved". I can "re-connect" to my router and every thing is fine. Is there a way to keep my phone from connecting to my wireless printer?

Just the WiFi network password - same as I use to connect my phone to the Internet.

Right, so you're entering the router information into the printer so it connects to your router, right? Is your phone picking up the printer as a router?

I think that is what is happening. I clicked on "Forget", for the printer, and that appears to have fixed the problem - at least it didn't connect today.

Well, I have a similar issue with the one I own. (Samsung Galaxy Centura) My phone makes the connection to WIFI, and says it has connectivity of 65 mbps(excellent.) With mobile data turned off and connected to WIFI, it will not show any webpage with ease. I will note that it will show the page sometimes after about 3-4 times clicking on the <ok> button for timeout issues. It is very unstable. Take into consideration that there is nothing wrong with modem or wireless router cause I had no problem surfing to post this now. Now, I know under the Straight Talk Plan the phone is only connecting on 3G network when on mobile network connection (currently only connection I can make with phone with reliability.) I understand why it is also slow is because I receive only 1-2 3g bar here at my house. Which is why it is crucial that I can get online under WIFI. Thanks for any post or replies.
