Samsung GT-S5510T Ringtone upload

Is it possible to upload a ringtone from your pc to this phone?
If so, what format should it be in (mp3?) and can it be done somehow with just a USB connection?

Yes, you should be able to use usb to transfer mp3 files. The alternative is putting them on the microsd card and then putting them in the phone. There is usually a ringtone or sounds folder.

Thanks for the reply tavenger5. There appears to be just two ports on the phone - one for inserting the micro card and the other a USB. Connecting the USB cable to my pc just seems to start charging the phone with no provision appearing on the pc to transfer any files to the phone.
Also, re' loading a file onto the micro card I'm guessing some extra piece of gear is needed? (other than the pc and phone)

Are you sure you have the right USB cable? Some are charging only. If you are sure, then look for a setting in the notification pulldown menu after you connect the phone.
