I simply need to know what sound file formats will actually work on a sanyo pm8200. I have an account at myphonefiles.com and havnt had any luck so far.

Any of these audio types are compatible: MIDI, 13kQCELP and CMX

Any ideas on how to get wavs converted to either of the last two types would be nice.

qcp is compatible and I believe mp3 too

winamp have a file converter built into it.
one of my techie roomates used to use it back in the day but I dont have a freaking CLUE how to myself.. I know its possible though.

I'm only able to transfer midi format.

in winamp goto options, then preferneces, under plug-ins click on output, select nullsoft disk writer plugin then click on the configure botton. you now wont to set the output directory to where ever you wont the songs to go. check the convert to format tab and change the format to PCM 8.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono and the output file mode to force wave file. now when you play a song it will make the new file in the folder you have selected
