hi
I'm not a sprint user but I wanted to consult with you guys.
my cellphone company (pelephone) blocks the option of downloading ring-tones and files from any other website that isn't there's.
when i asked for the reason the claimed it's due to the cdma system they are using. (GSM providers in my area allow you to download stuff).
i think they deliberately blocked it to earn more money.
can you download any files from the web to your phone ?
what's the situation in other CDMA service providers ?
do you know of any limitations the CDMA system has over GSM in that issue ?
thanks and sorry if my English is not prefect

You can send ringers to your PC and then transfer them via USB cable to your phone.

i'm with sprint and i download ringtones from all sorts of different sites. i wont download from sprint because i think its stupid to pay $2.50 for a ringtone - especially considering how often i change my ringtones.
