When you download a song from the Sprint Music Store, it's in KOZ format.
What is KOZ?
KOZ is audio file format developed by Chaoticom and used by Groove Mobile for downloading songs to mobile phones; also used by the Sprint Music store for Sprint/Nextel subscribers.
Is there a program to convert to KOZ?
No, there isn't. However, KOZ is the same thing as AAC+.
How do you convert MP3 to AAC+?
I use dbpoweramp

Re: Download songs from Sprint Store
It's still not out. 'Coming Soon'. No idea when, sorry.
The old KOZ files are DRM encrypted and will not play in the new music player.
You can still play the KOZ files on the device you bought them on, but nothing else. Record company restrictions on transferring the files unfortunately.
