Why doesn't .JAR work with Nokia 6265i?

As the title states, my question is that why doesn't my Nokia 6265i phone recognize .JAR format when it's an S40 phone. Does anyone have a clue about how I could get free games with my phone?

i would say the file is damaged in some way or form, try downloading one off mbookx.com there all free .jar images and see if they work, if u dont please get back to me and i will try and help u put more ben@hillsdon.com

Ohhh wait someone told me that I can't upload games through bluetooth... I guess that's why they're not working..? I'll try your solution too though. Thanks.

How do I install java games off the net onto my Nokia N72?

I have the choice of getting either a .jad file or a .jar file.

Which one do I need to get and how do I install/run it on my phone once I do have it?

you should get the jar file, remember that your phone java should be compatible with the file you want to use.

It seems that the *.jar file is damaged, you can try with another ones and test the problem

.jar file maybe damaged but you have to be sure :S

Check it if your phone supports jar files. some phones support .sis files and not .jar or .jad files so it maybe, MAYBE, it's a factor...

i think there is software problem in your handset. simply you should update the software from Nokia customer support center and you can download the free updated software for your mobile from Nokia website . and i think only .jar files support to Nokia handsets.
