Hi, I just recently lost my v3 razr so I just bought a new Cect p168+ phone. I know it's a rip off the iphone and made only in china or whatever but it's a NICE phone for the price I paid. Getting me a 2 gig micro SD card for it now too...

Anyways, As I learn where everything goes, one thing still bothers me. Just like with my razr, I can find some free games in the form of .jar and .jad files but HOW DO I INSTALL THEM? I don't have internet for my phone so I have to use my usb cable to add them to my phone. I tried dropping them on it and using file manager but "install" isn't an option it gives...

Not just games but pretty much any programs / applications, how am I suppose to add them? Is there some sort of hack program I can "open" my phone files up and modify them? I mean the ones built in that it won't let me delete or edit? It's got built in rings n stuff I wish I could also mess with.

Any ideas from anybody? Need ways to use my datacable to do all this...

(it's a GSM phone... just fyi)

    ~thanks in advance!

you cannot install games, you have to use widgets.... just look up "free widgets for iphone" on google and it should come up with a bunch of sites...

thanks for finally responding but from looking up "widgets" just now it looks like they are nothing more then basically webpages to get news or whatever. I DID say in my original post that i don't have internet plus i'm looking for games, not news. Am i just overlooking "widget" games that can be thrown onto the CECT via USB cable?

to install .jad/.jar games in the i9/i9+/i68/i68+ on reqires you to have the file added to your phone /memory card into whatever folder you use (java folder) and simply navigate to them thru your phone and click it. it will ask to install ands you click yes or no....simple as that.

and yes...this reply is ayear old..but whoever looks for the answer and comes here will seee the correct response.

i used my cable that it came with(usb) you just have to find the folders.. it has multiple hard drive folders.. just type them in your search bar.. d:e:f:g: till you find them
the games folder is under java..add the (jar) files in and you have to click each one and install befoe you can play the game.. there are specific lists of touch screen jar files if you cannot find let me know and i'll find the list... i have a 1-9 ( upgrades 168 phone ) as well as a g2 much the same with wifi but works the same way...
