OK, I know it's really old, but I thought I'd start a site with keypress ringtones. I've converted a lot of polyphonic ringtones into single channel midi files and then into RTTTL monophonic ringtones compatible with Nokia phones.
Does anybody know any (reliable) software that can batch convert these RTTTL files (.txt) into keypress format. Also, other manufacturers such as Ericsson and Siemens had a composer function on their phone. I realise that the keypresses are different for the various manufacturers, but again, if there is any batch software for conversion into their keypress format, that would be great.
Finally, do you think websites that provide keypress details have to be registered to pay royalties? I'm setting up the site and giving the keypress sequences freely to all visitors, so paying royalties is not gonna be good. If royalties are due, is there any way around it (like the sites that provide free polyphonic ringtones)?
Thanks.

I know people with old a$$ phones that would want keypress ringers.
However, I would still laugh at them when their phone rang.
HAHAHA
