    I'm sure this has been posted if it has my appologies. I read up about PCS vs Cellular on howstuffworks.com and I'm a bit confused, I thought every cell phone was well cellular. I figured PCS was just some sort of digital thing kind of like regular analog cable and digital cable. How is Cellular worst or better and what providers (popular ones) are cellular, and which are PCS?

    pcs

    pcs is on the 1900 band & cellular is on the 800 band. pcs 1900 does not travel as far as the 800 band.
