    a cell phone?

I want to use a normal size computer key board, that will communicate with the cell phone remotely by IR transmit/ recieve. The objective here is that don't want to hold the cell phone against my head becuase of the radiation danger. I want to be at least 20 feet away from the cell phone when it(the cell phone) is in the transmit/ recieve mode I don't want to use Blue tooth because it radiates at microwave frequencies too . I only want an IR link between keyboard and cellphone. So the dialing of the phone, the talking on the phone and answering the phone is done remotely. In essence the remote keyboard functions the same way as the cellphone's keyboard(pad?)

Now is this the wrong forum to post a practical question or am I talking to a bunch of gamers?
