I have just bought a Sprint PPC 6700.

I like everything about it but here is my problem.

I usually goto India every month and I have a GSM SimCard that is from a local indian provider (AirTel). I want to show off my device and use the same one in India too.

So I am deciding to return the PPC 6700 back and moving to some other phone?

Is there any phone that has windows mobile in it as well as works as a worldphone?

I am ready to spend anything! What is the best phone available?

Now the only thing would be that since Sprint isn't GSM then they wouldn't use GSM phones but CDMA which aren't compatible with sim cards. If you want to keep Sprint then you will need to carry around two different phones, one for your Sprint and one for your AirTel sim card.

here's a question, if you do get an unlocked Pocket PC WorldPhone that works in the states, won't the internet/messaging setting have to be changed to work in india with the airtel sim? so you'd be constantly changing when you go to and leave india.

If not internet, I will use the phone "part" of the pocket pc in india on the same pocket pc.

any suggestions?
