Re: SIM Card BACKUP!
The short answer is .... no.
From what I can remember, the way it works is no two SIMS (with the same phone numbers), can register on the carriers GSM network at the same time.
Don't even know if the second phone when you powered it up, would even register on the carrier's system, unless the other phone (the original phone), was powered off first.
So basically what would happen is this, Phone #1 is on and making and receiving calls. Phone #2 with the cloned SIM is turned on and tries to register onto the carriers network. At this time Phone #2 never registers onto the network because as far as the newtwork is concerned, it's already connected. So until one or both phones are powered off, and only one of the phones is powered back on, #2 is never going to be making calls (as long as the SIM in that phone is the same as the SIM in phone #1).

Re: SIM Card BACKUP!
Well you can clone the SIM, but not use both phones (power on) at the same time. To make it less confusing for ya, only one right foot will fit in a shoe at any one time. So only one phone can be on the network at the same time.
