Has anyone purchased phones from Europe and used them in the USA?
If so can you steer me towards an online store that I can use.
I want a Nokia 6086 and it is not available here yet.

majority of the unlocked phones in the united states are made in europe & asia the best way to find it would probably be google nokia 6086 unlocked

I have a phone from Europe. Check out ebay and make sure the European version will work with your service.
