    The thread i posted before got burried somewhere, so when i question came up on how to prolong battery life i decided to post this again and make a sticky.

    If you want to make the most out of your cellphone's battery, this is the article to read, it will also answer alot of questions and myths about batteries.

    The best idea yet, prolonging a batteries life is really a waste. Replacement batteries are CHEAP enough and I'm talking about OEM batteries. I paid $10 for 2 motorola batteries.

    If your OEM batteries are years old, they're not going to perform at 100% capacity. Lithium Ion batteries decay over time from manufacture so if you want a fresh single battery you're better off buying as new as possible.

    I always heard you weren't supposed to charge your phone until the battery was on the last bar. Otherwise you'll shorten the battery life.

    you maybe using your I phone a lot, i had an I phone too and were at the same situation, i love listening to musics and also adding applications and styles to my phones, well actually I'm a bit addicted in adding styles and options to my phones.

    Nice informative article!
    I just purchased a laptop. Don't want to mess up my 9 cell battery.

    However, I have not experienced any battery life problem with my cellphones yet...

    Wow, very informative. I certainly was not aware of the huge effect temperature has on the life of my battery.
